APC-3596 - Fully IP65 Panel PC System

DSL's commitment with the latest embedded technology continues to advance with the APC 3596. This is a very unique Panel PC from Datasound Laboratories, not only is the unit IP65 rated on the front bezel, it is infact   IP65 rated all round. With the aid of specially designed cables the APC-3596 is protected against jets of liquid from any directions in accordance to the IP65 specification.

The unit is powered by an Intel Pentium / Celeron M CPU (up to 1.7GHz) and offers optimal heat dissipation with the use of a heat pipe for transmitting heat to the housing. With no ventilation holes, the enclosure is completely sealed, thereby protecting the system from dust and splashes.

The system integrates LAN, 1 USB 2.0 Port, 1 COM port and PS/2. Within the rugged IP65 rated chassis there is the option of either CompactFlash or 2.5" HDD which permits either a desktop O/S (i.e. XP Pro), a truly embedded O/S such as XP Embedded (free custom image creation for new projects) or any other x86 operating system.

This fanless, silent, slim line (65mm deep) Panel PC unit is perfect for use in a number of markets including Food, Automotive, Marine, Chemical, Medical and many other industries.
