The New ICOP-6240

Datasound Laboratories are pleased to announce the arrival of the new ICOP-6240; this is ICOP Technology's very first EBX board.

It has a range of features which you would normally expect to find in a high end Desktop PC, let alone one measuring just 5.75 x 8 inches and running of a single 5V supply.

The unit is driven by a fanless 533MHz VIA Core Fusion Processor and has six serial ports, dual LAN, Audio, 2 USB, an Enhanced IDE port and 256MB of onboard RAM. 16bit GPIO is also included in this vast array of features.

The ICOP-6240 also supports integrated 2D/3D AGP4x graphics, providing MPEG2 Acceleration which supports industry standard VGA and TFT Flat Panel interfaces.

Due to its extensive list of features the ICOP-6240  becomes a very suitable unit, especially for those that require a system that requires no moving parts, within a small space.

Surprisingly, even with its performance and extensive  range of features the ICOP-6240 costs just  £189 in the prototype quantities (1-9 Off) dropping to £153 for  production quantities (100 Off)

The unit is also completely RoHS compliant.
