Passive cooling makes the ICOP-6270 ideal for environments where no moving parts is essential.

Using the VIA CoreFusion 533MHz processor with a VIA VT82C686B chipset, the ICOP-6270 offers fantastic performance with 128MB of onboard SDRAM.

An integrated 2D/3D, AGP2X graphics controller is also on board and provides MPEG2 acceleration.

The Realtek 8100B allows for 10/100Mbps Ethernet operation where networking is a requirement whilst and on board AC97 codec provides version 2.2 compliant audio support.

Two USB 1.1 ports enables users to connect a variety of devices to the board to create a complete embedded system.

Other features include 2 Serial Ports, EIDE (supporting Flash Memory and standard IDE devices), Floppy Disk interface, Parallel Port and Keyboard/Mouse Support.

Operating from a single 5V supply, the board measures just 90 x 96mm and has an operating temperature of -20 to +60C.

Amazingly, all this costs just £179 in prototype quantities (1-9 off) dropping to £149 for production (100 off) and is fully RoHS compliant.
