The New LT2600 from Datasound Laboratories Ltd. is a user friendly, smart, space saving Thin Client system. The LT2600 uses the AMD Geode LX800 processor, with a 2D graphics chipset onboard which supports Microsoft Windows GDI and GUI interfaces. Being a server based system, the LT2600's operating system is embedded within the unit itself. Without the requirement for locally installed software security of the entire network is greatly increased and all client configurations can be made from a centralised server saving a great deal of time for IT staff. As standard the system is provided pre-installed with one of two standard operating systems, Linux or Windows XP Embedded. 32MB Flash is installed for the Linux version and 512MB for the Windows XP Embedded version. The sleek, quiet, fanless and ultra thin design makes it perfect for an office environment. In addition, no moving parts extends the overall lifetime of the system. The
