The DSL-6247LCD from Datasound Laboratories Ltd. is a low power open frame panel PC system yet incorporates a high performance fanless CPU running at 533MHz.

The system can be provided with screen sizes from 6.4" up to 15.1" all fitted with Touch Screen as standard. Depending on what model is selected 2 or 6 serial ports are available for connection of peripherals such as barcode scanners making the systems ideal for POI / POS applications.

Operating System and Data storage is catered for using either a laptop style hard disk or for applications requiring no moving parts, via IDE Disk-on-Module. Both options are available via the 44-pin IDE connector. A CompactFlash Socket is also present on all but the 6.4" LCD variant.

Other features provided include a 10/100 LAN connection, 2 x USB 1.1 ports and a PC/104 expansion bus. All of these features are Windows XP / CE or Linux compatible with device drivers provided free of charge.
